How far in advance do I need to book?
Bookings are based on a first in basis. The earlier you book the more likely you are to secure the booking for the desired property and dates.
Can you accommodate last minute bookings?
Yes, if the desired property is available then we are more than happy to book accommodation up to 24 hours before arrival. This is on the condition full payment has been received prior to your arrival.
How does the rating system work?
Our rating system is designed to assure clients that none of our properties are below three stars in quality. Clients can use the system to see at a glance the level of luxury, size and amenities of any of the properties in our program . Five Stars – These villas are the best in our inventory, featuring a combination of superlative location and views, beautiful grounds, top architectural design and materials, and spacious, beautifully appointed interiors with top-of-the-line appliances and amenities.
They are equal or superior to the most luxurious resort or hotel accommodation. Four Stars – In almost every respect these villas match the characteristics of our 5-Star properties, but may be somewhat smaller or have fewer built-in amenities. Three Stars – These villas and houses offer abundant charm and character, but are smaller, simpler and more casual than our 4 – and 5-Star properties. This category also includes cozy bungalows or retreats. They are a wonderful way to sample the good life in Bali at a more moderate price range.
What size are the villas available?
Ministry offers villas ranging from charming one-bedroom villas to huge villa estates that can sleep over 20 people. Villas on our website must meet certain standards regarding their appearance, location, amenities, décor and comfort.
Why should we book a villa through Ministry of Villas instead of directly with the owner or hotel reception?
We are a professional Bali villa company. When you book your luxury villa through us you are assured that:

No there is no additional fee. Ministry of Villas is a villa company that manages and advertises the rentals of luxury villas. We charge no rental fee for any of the properties on our website as the fee is already included in the rental rate. There are no hidden dues or membership fees.
What kind of concierge services do you offer and how do I go about booking them?

Along with services you can order, we’ll happily direct you to your destinations popular restaurants, boutiques, restaurants and cultural venues. We can also help you deal with small emergencies and refer you to top-tier dentists and doctors.
Are pets allowed in the villas?
Each villa on our website has a different policy regarding pets. It’s best to ask us whether the villa(s) you’re interested in will allow pets and under what conditions.
Is the Ministry of Villas company an expert in holiday bookings?

Are the villas children friendly?
Almost all our villas have spas or swimming pools, as well as state-of-the-art entertainment systems. We can also provide you with a list of local playgrounds, bike paths, attractions and children-oriented activities that can help you plan your children’s entertainment. All of the nannies on our preferred providers list are experienced at keeping children happily occupied. We can also help you organise baby equipment so you can travel lightly.

How do I rent a Bali villa?
The process is pretty straightforward. Look over our list of villas. You can search by name, location, guests and rate. When you see a villa (or villas) you like, click on the enquiry button or call us on +61 7 3103 3139 and speak to a reservations agent. We will be happy to answer all your questions about the property you’re interested in.
Can you hold a property for me for specific dates?
Yes, we can. We will place a 48 hour courtesy hold on the property you’re interested in to give you time to make a final decision.
What are your deposit and cancellation policy?
The policies vary depending on the villa. Please read out terms and condition page for cancellation costs.
How do I check into the villa?
Ten days to two weeks before your arrival, we will e-mail you a detailed set of directions to the house, as well as key instructions and gate codes. One of the villa staff will be on hand to greet you and show you around the house and answer questions about its appliances and amenities.
Do you offer high season, shoulder season and low season rates?
Yes. Depending on the time of year, rates at our properties will vary. Generally speaking, our peak season is December to January, high season is from July to September and low season is January to June and September to December. Some villas also increase rates for the Chinese New Year and Easter. Check the ‘terms’ tab on the villa profile to find out the exact dates.
Can you accommodate large groups?
We have several properties that can accommodate large groups (10 to 30 people) and are well suited to family gatherings or corporate meetings and events. You can ask our team to recommend some to you. Or, refine your search on the website which divides our properties according to bedroom count.
Does the villa rental fee include food and beverage?
No it doesn’t. Just as with a hotel, the rate you pay is for the accommodation only. We can help you pre-stock your house with your favorite food and beverages, as well as make reservations for you at popular restaurants. We’re also happy to give you a list of recommended places for grocery shopping and dining that you can try on your own.
How is the villa maintained during my stay?
Your Ministry of Villas property will have been meticulously cleaned and prepared for your visit. All of our villas include daily housekeeping so you don’t have to lift a finger.
Can I rent a villa for longer than 30 days?
Yes you can. We have some villas that are available for longer-term rentals of several months or even up to a year. Our team can tell what is currently available.
Do you adjust the rate for a long tern villa rental so we don’t have to pay premium rental rates?
Yes of course. Property prices will depend on the villa owners but in most cases they are happy to reduce the rental charge for a long-term rental.
Do you base the rental price on the number of people staying at the property?
No. The fee you pay is for the villa you rent, not the number of people staying in it. But do keep in mind that each home’s “sleeping capacity” is listed on the website. There may be some exceptions, which we will mention when you call. Rates quoted allow for maximum occupancies of the villa as shown in the provided information. The number of guests staying in a property cannot exceed the maximum number of guests published or agreed in the bookings confirmation. If you do have additional guests after the booking has been made please contact our staff as additional charges may be required.
